Merry Makers
Wesley Monumental UMC offers regular gatherings for seniors. This thriving group is called the Merry Makers, and they keep busy! The Merry Makers attend gatherings all over the Savannah area and beyond.
Dutch Treat Lunches
Once a month, the Merry Makers meet up at a local restaurant to enjoy a Dutch Treat Lunch. We try to visit many different venues, so if you have a favorite place to eat, please send Rev. Carolyn Hale Cubbedge your suggestion!
Events At Church and Around Town
The Merry Makers gather on the first Monday of every month for regular events featuring a wide variety of speakers and topics. Past speakers include local business owners, authors, artists, and more.
We also enjoy local events, such as tours, together on occasion.
Day Trips
The Merry Makers have also been known to take day trips to other locales. We’ve enjoyed theater events, exciting shows, and more. The trip there is half the fun!
