The National Day of Prayer

The National Day of Prayer is observed annually on the first Thursday of May. This day observance, designated by the United States Congress, asks people “to turn to God in prayer and meditation.”

This year, Wesley Monumental will offer two ways to participate: 

1) The sanctuary will be open from 7:30 a.m. to noon, so members and visitors can stop by and pray.  Due to construction, please use the main entrance facing Taylor Square or the Gordon Street door if you need access to the elevator.  Restrooms will not be available.

2) A suggested prayer schedule for Wesley Monumental groups (e.g., Administrative Board, Sunday school classes, etc.) is available by clicking the button below. Please note the times when your group(s) are invited to pray and put it on your schedule.
