Spiritual growth and the inward journey are the things that give Christian life. He loves to talk about it, read about it, write about, and most of all experience it. Living abroad in Spain while pursuing a Masters of Arts in Spiritual Formation was an awakening season in his life. He learned to slow down, to become aware, to behold the beauty and mystery of this human experience.

Moving back to the US has been challenging for him as the pace of life here is just not congruent with the pace of the soul. He’s learning to implement ancient wisdom passed down through thousands of years of the Christian tradition and live this life on purpose, with intention, availability, and continual transformation into love.

He’s not a monk. He has an incredible wife and a beautiful little girl. He’s outgoing and deeply values joy. Christian is learning to let go of self-preservation and the control of outcomes, trusting that all things belong and are being made new.
