Come join us! Along with our emphasis on prayer this Lenten season, we have decided re-start our “Prayer Shawl Ministry” at Wesley. This time we will be making a smaller version of the prayer shawl called a “prayer square”. These “prayer squares” will be given to those people in and out of our church who need prayer. They can be easily held in a doctor’s office, put in the pocket of a hospital gown, carried in a purse or pants pocket, or just held during time of grief, pain, fear, or simply when spending time with God. They have been a comfort to many and a reminder of God’s presence and that others are praying. Once you learn how to make the “prayer squares” they can be easily made in your own home at your own convenience.
