Wednesday Night Supper Resumes

January 13, 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm

Attention All Adults…….Don’t Miss Out on Wednesday Nights!

For the Winter/Spring Semester, we will offer 2 Adult Bible Studies In Person & Via Zoom (6:00—7:00 PM)

(A) “Answers to the Big Questions: A study of Genesis 1-3, Job 1-3, Ecclesiastes 1-3, Matthew 5-7” Led by Ben Martin.

What are the questions about life that shape our world view? Who am I? Where did I come from and where am I going? Who is God? What is my purpose? Where do I belong? Etc. How do some of the foundational Biblical stories like the creation story or story of Job or wisdom teachings like Ecclesiastes or the Sermon on the Mount answer those questions. You can attend in person or on Zoom. Email ben@wesleymonumental.org for the Zoom link or attend in person.

Have you ever wanted to understand the Old Testament better? Come join Jennifer Thompson on the second floor of Oliver Hall (or via Zoom) from 6:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. on Wednesday nights beginning January 13 as she leads the Epic of Eden: Understanding the Old Testament study by Dr. Sandra Richter. This study will help you:
• Gain a rich understanding of the context in which the Old Testament was written
• Learn to make sense of all the Old Testament parts, pieces, and stories
• Discover the present-day implications of Scripture’s big story.
This will be a hybrid class (both in person and on Zoom). If you would like for Jennifer to send you a Zoom “invite” for this class, please email her at jennifert@wesleymonumental.org. Jennifer will be passing out copies of the study book to those meeting in person, or she can email a copy of the PDF of the book to those planning to meet via Zoom.
