We are excited to announce that we will be offering a Confirmation class, open to 6th graders and anyone in grades 6-12 who has not previously been confirmed, this winter. We will meet on Sundays during the Sunday School Hour (9:45-10:45) on the fourth floor of Oliver Hall.

Confirmation is a chance for young people to grow in their understanding of who God is and what he has done for us through Jesus Christ. Confirmation offers a space to make a public profession of faith in Christ and to take the vows of church membership for oneself. It can be a transition to a more mature and responsible role in the congregation. For those who have never been baptized, it is a time to experience the sacrament. But for all those involved, it is a step in the road to becoming more like our Lord Jesus Christ. The course will also explore our own unique faith tradition as United Methodists.
