Pre-School and Day Care for Disadvantaged Children, Sponsored by the United Methodist Women and the United Methodist Church

Since 1949, Wesley Community Centers of Savannah’s mission has been to enhance the economic, educational and spiritual growth of women, children and families.  Services include an accredited pre-school and daycare program for children ages 1-4, and a spring break/summer multicultural youth arts program for ages 5-12.  The Center emphasizes childcare for parents who are working or in school.  Additionally, there is a family life center with a food pantry, career clothing closet, computer lab, library, adult literacy education classes and additional special events.

Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, in Whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.  –James 1:17

The Center needs supplies for the food pantry, nice or new clothing for the closet, and especially gardeners for its vegetable garden.  You can schedule a visit by contacting the WCC Director or contact Diane Davis at dpwdmd50@hotmail.com.
