The Mission Ministry at Wesley Monumental covers a wide range of programs, including the Six-Lane Mission objective. Wesley is also proud to support the mission of Jeff & Ellen Hoover to Zaire, and Grover & Deanie Bell's work in the Dominican Republic. The United Methodist Women and Men send missionaries each year to Honduras, and church members assist tornado victims in Camilla, GA & Whiteville, NC; Teen Missions travel to nearby states to assist the needy. We encourage more of our young adults to commit to becoming US-2 missionaries as well.
Mission work at Wesley also includes helping those in need in the local community such as Care and Share, which visits the elderly & shut-ins, our Friday Night meal and ministry for AASU students, college missions at SCAD, and offering help to transients and others in need. We continue to support the Interfatih Hopitality Network and provide funding for the Wesley Community Center & Wesley Foundation.
