Wesley Gardens Retreat Center |
|
Early in 1963, Mrs. Samuel Rotan (not a member of Wesley Monumental) offered a large 130-acre country estate located on Moon River, Burnside Island, as a gift which was gratefully accepted. It was originally known as Folly Marsh, and was renamed ‘Wesley Gardens’ by Mrs. Albert Trulock. It has been used constantly since that time, not only by Wesley but by other churches as well, and was later opened up to non-members on a limited basis. Wesley Gardens is the perfect place for weddings, picnics, church retreats, family reunions, and other gatherings.
