Creede Hinshaw is in his 33rd year of ordained ministry, having been appointed to Wesley Monumental UMC in 2007. In addition to the joy of weekly preaching he writes a religion column for the Albany Herald and occasional columns for the Savannah Morning News and the Wesleyan Christian Advocate. He also writes and delivers a daily radio spot (Morning by Morning) on two Savannah radio stations.
Creede is a graduate of Ball State University and the Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Prior to ordination he taught school and served two years in the US Army. He enjoys cycling through town and loves sermon work with a pot of coffee overlooking the marsh at Wesley Gardens. Creede and Bonnie are the parents of 3 adult sons: Jess, Jeremy and Jacob Hinshaw.
