Made like him, like him we rise, alleluia! Ours the Cross, the grave, the skies, alleluia! - Charles Wesley
The Christian faith begins with Easter, with bewildered disciples finding an empty tomb and hearing the Good News: He is Risen! Even today, Easter is at the center of the Christian faith. It shapes all our life and worship – some have called every Sunday morning a “little Easter.” Nevertheless, there is something special about this day!
Come join us as we hear the Gospel proclaimed in word, song, and ritual! Easter calls forth our most extravagant worship and praise. Our full choir provides stirring music for both our morning services with organ and brass. Our 11:00 service includes a full processional of our choir, pastors, and the Paschal candle that represents the presence of the Risen Christ among us. Both services conclude with a powerful performance of Handel’s “Hallelujah Chorus” from the Messiah.
Attendance at the 11:00 service is almost always at capacity; please plan to arrive early for that service.
Please note that this year we will celebrate the Lord's Supper at the 8:45 service, but not at 11:00.
