If you come to worship this Sunday…..ooops! Let me start over on that sentence: When you come to worship this Sunday… (That sounds so much better!)…When you come to worship this Sunday please take note that Gordon Street (between Drayton and Abercorn Street) is closed while they tie our new renovation into the city water system. From the looks of the project, that one city block won’t be open this Sunday, which means some of you will need to plan ahead as you park. You can still use our parking lot at the corner of Gordon and Drayton, but you need to slow down and turn into the lot from the alley, or you’ll have to make a long loop to start over again. As far as those of you who park on that block of Gordon Street, you’ll probably have to make alternate plans this Sunday. Remember we have a lot behind Rose of Sharon Apartments on Lincoln Street. It is only about 3 blocks from the church and the weather is glorious. Anyway, back to the first part of my thoughts…When you come to church this Sunday, you will get to hear the children sing at 11 a.m. for World Communion Sunday. We will have an inspiring service and I’ll be addressing what Jesus meant when he told the disciples they needed only the faith of a grain of mustard seed. Wish I could write more, but I have an appointment to give blood this afternoon. See you Sunday! Creede Hinshaw |
