Wesley Monumental UMC is a vital, thriving historic congregation in downtown Savannah.  We average over 400 worshipers every Sunday in 2 morning services.  Our 1100 members live both within walking distance of our church and also in a 5 county area encompassing Georgia and South Carolina.   We are blessed with a vibrant mix of children, youth, college students, and adults.  

Established in 1868 as a living monument to John and Charles Wesley, we are privileged to receive visitors from around the world who desire to worship in this beautiful setting.  We understand ourselves to be forgiven and redeemed by God, and empowered by Jesus Christ to be disciples for the transformation of the world.  Our 35 acre retreat center (Wesley Gardens) on Moon River gives us unparalleled ministry opportunities.  With a budget of $1.4 million we offer a comprehensive ministry to Savannah and beyond.
